Heaven is an old growth forest: Ancient ferns, mosses and mushrooms covering the forest floor, Redwood giants towering overhead, and songbirds trilling throughout the canopy.
We chose this setting for its sacred, eternal and grounding feel. It’s a retreat from the city, and offers a space to connect on a deeper, more personal level.
After our celebration, we hiked through the forest along the Hoyt Arboretum’s Wildwood Trail from golden hour to sunset. Later that evening the rare solstice Strawberry Moon illuminated the sky with a pink glow.
